As a club sport, the team is largely successful because of a well organized parents' group. The North Allegheny Rowing Association (NARA) Board focuses on the operation of the organization, including: the planning of travel, meals, hotels and chaperones for regattas; the purchase and maintenance of equipment; arranging to make logo wear, uniforms, and other accessories available for purchase; event planning (e.g., Erg Race, Banquet); management of NARA finances, collection of fees, and payments for expenses; and other necessary activities.
