Assistant Coach

Todd Ridenour

Todd Ridenour graduated from North Allegheny in 1984 and has been coaching with North Allegheny Rowing Association since 2011. He has had 3 of his 4 children go through the program. Todd's most memorable races he coached at North Allegheny were 11th in the Nation at US Rowing Youth Nationals '13 in the Girl's Lightweight 2X and 3rd place at SRAA's '14 in the Girl's JV4+, which, in Todd's opinion, is probably the most competitive event in high school rowing.

Todd began his rowing career in 1998 as one of the early members of the University of Pittsburgh Club. He earned Pitt’s first Dad Vail Silver medal in the Men's 2-. Todd later became the Novice Men's Coach, and his 8+ won Pitt’s first Dad Vail Gold medal. Eventually, Todd served as Head Coach at the University for 3 years and continued to win championship medals.

In the words of Coach Todd: “I have heard these students are the best of the best at North Allegheny, and I have to agree. This is also the best coaching staff and parent support group I have worked with in my years in rowing.”
