Anthony Bertucci Commits to University of San Diego

North Allegheny Rowing is proud to announce that senior captain Anthony Bertucci has officially committed to row collegiately at the University of San Diego, where he plans to major in Biochemistry.
A five-year member of NA’s Rowing program and a two-year team captain, Bertucci has left a serious mark on this team, both on and off the water. Known for his relentless work ethic and leadership, Bertucci holds the #6 all-time 2k time in program history and ranked 5th nationally among U19 men at the 2025 USRowing Indoor National Championships.
Bertucci’s tenure has been marked by standout performances at various regattas. In fall 2024, he took home first place finishes in the Men’s Varsity 2x at both the Head of the Ohio and Head of the Muskingum, and added a third place finish at the Blake Haxton Fall Regatta. In spring 2024, he earned silver in the JV 4x at the Midwest Scholastic Championships, and capped off his junior year with an appearance at the SRAA National Regatta.
The University of San Diego is recognized for its competitive rowing team and strong academic offerings. Bertucci’s commitment marks a significant milestone for both himself and the NA program, reflecting years of training, leadership, and success.
As he heads west to join the Toreros, Bertucci leaves behind a legacy of excellence and leadership that has elevated the NA Men’s Rowing team on a national scale. Congratulations, Anthony!
