The Midwest Scholastic Rowing Association (MSRA) has announced its 2025 Scholastic Honor Roll Selectees, recognizing 98 outstanding student-athletes across 26 schools, with an additional 29 earning honorable mention honors. Among the honorees, four student-athletes from North Allegheny have earned their place on the prestigious list.
The MSRA Scholastic Honor Roll recognizes high school juniors who have not only demonstrated excellence on the water but also in the classroom. To qualify, athletes must have competed in the A-Finals at the MSRA Championships during their 9th, 10th, or 11th grade year, or raced at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA) Nationals, USRowing Youth Nationals, or the Junior World Championships during that same time frame. In addition to their rowing achievements, candidates must also maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, calculated from the first semester of 9th grade through the first semester of 11th grade.
Representing the North Allegheny Tigers, the four rowers selected to the 2025 Honor Roll are Alexandra Edfors, Cooper Lemon, Alexander Repinski, and Christian Sperandeo.
Their selection is a testament to their hard work and dedication to excellence both athletically and academically. North Allegheny continues to be a strong presence in the scholastic rowing community, and this honor highlights the program’s ongoing commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes.
