Nik Kshirsagar added another podium finish for the Tigers, claiming 2nd in the Men’s U19 500 Meter Dash, while Layton Wright surged to gold in the Men’s U20 500 Meter Dash. North Allegheny’s coxswains proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Emma Coca and Ava Moore captured gold and silver, respectively, in the U19/U20 Coxswain Dash.
The Tigers set the bar high with 20 new personal records from the day. Highlights included impressive time drops from Sophia Savena, who improved by 41.3 seconds, Tai Luangkesorn who knocked off 20.0 seconds, and Suraj Raina, who shaved 11.8 seconds off his previous best.
The day concluded with the U20 6-Person Mixed Relay event, where the Tigers’ team of Anthony Bertucci, Ananya Doizhode, Madison Lambert, Neil Pore, Alex Repinski, and Katherine Zema secured 2nd place behind Three Rivers Rowing Association.
